MAIN GAY BEACHES IN SITGES

Platja dels Balmins:
Carrer de Joan Salvat Papasseit, 28, 08870 Sitges
GAY NUDIST BEACH – Situated between the town center and the marina, this beach is popular with a mixed crowd of tourists and locals, is clothing-optional, and offers a more relaxed atmosphere.

Platja de la Bassa Rodona:
Passeig Marítim, 6, 08870 Sitges
NUDIST GAY BEACH –  Before the marina just 15-minute walk from the center. Located in the center of town in front of Hotel Calipolis, this is the main, most crowded gay beach, ideal for socializing.

Platja de l’Home Mort & Playa del Muerto:
Carrer Baluard, Massís del Garraf, 08870 Sitges
GAY NUDIST BEACH – A secluded, rocky, nudist-friendly cove considered one of the world’s oldest gay beaches, reachable via a hike through a scenic pine forest.

Sitges is located on the Mediterranean coast. It produces a micro-climate since it is surrounded by the Garraf’s Mountains. The climate is pretty warm all year round. Even if Barcelona is raining and cold, Sitges could be sunny and espectacular! Needles to say, the beaches in Sitges are gorgeous! People call it “The Spanish French Riviera” and they are right to say so.

There are around 17 beaches in Sitges. They are gay friendly, welcoming and very clean. No matter who you are, Sitges has a beach for you. They have family beaches, gay beaches and nude beaches. And the cool part is that they are all very accessible. Sitges beaches have a long beach walk from the beginning of town to the other end of town. You will always find runners and people exercising and if you are fit, you can walk from one end to the other.

Sitges is very very dog friendly. I have never seen so many dogs on the board walk and on the beaches of Spain. Which is fine by me since I love dogs. You will see dog lovers talking to other dog lovers and in general they are pretty good about keeping the areas clean.

The beaches in Sitges usually have: Toilet Facilities, Outdoor Showers, Wooden Walkway, Sun Loungers and Small Booth Style Bar.

Sitges is a premier European LGBTQ+ destination with three primary gay beaches offering a mix of vibrant social scenes and secluded nudism. The main spots are Basa Rodona (central), Balmins (scenic/nude-friendly), and Platja de l’Home Mort (isolated/nude).
